Virginia Beach
This post will be somewhat of a combo of this week and last week’s happenings.
Last week on Friday we went to a bell choir concert. It was held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mt. Solon. It was really cool. I wish there would’ve been more bell playing but it was very good overall.
On Monday we went to my Grandparent’s for Christmas. We had ham and oysters for lunch.
On Tuesday we left for Virginia Beach with our friends. On the way down we stopped at Short Pump Town Center. We went to the Apple Store and a few other stores and ate at Mission Barbecue. After we got there, we ate at Rudee’s. I had half a pound of shrimp.
On Wednesday some of us went to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum. When we were walking around getting ready to leave a ferry came so we decided to take it. It took us on a roughly 25-minute ride around the bay. We got off in the middle and looked around. We also did some thrift shopping, and I bought a wireless Apple keyboard for $10 dollars. It’s Bluetooth and battery powered! We ate at Ocean Eddie’s.
We left on Thursday. We ate, walked, and got some fudge. On the way out we stopped at the Lynnhaven Mall and did some shopping. We went to the Apple Store there too. I know, big shock! We went to the Bass Pro in Hampton Roads and ate lunch at Cheddar’s in Norfolk. After that we finished the trip home.
I really enjoy trips and this one was really fun. However, it is nice to be home. I don’t want to leave when we are still there, but it is wonderful to be home. I don’t remember where I heard this, but I saw somewhere, “Home is where the Wi-Fi auto connects.” Nowadays I know it auto connects anywhere you go but I still like the idea behind it.
