WWDC23

For those of you who don’t know what WWDC is, it is Apple’s yearly conference where they announce what new products, services, or updates that they are doing in the next year.

This year, as always, they announced their next operating systems, iOS 17 and macOS Sonoma, they also introduced some new macs. As the stream seemed to be winding down Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO came on stage and announced one more thing… Apple Vision Pro!

It is a combination of a virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) headset. When in AR it will overlay all your apps over your surroundings but when you turn up the VR it immerses you in a different world. Of course, since it’s Apple it comes with a hefty price tag, but it also does a lot! I read an article, and somebody speculated that Apple might release a more budget friendly version in 2025. At this point it hasn’t been released and it is set to release next year. It looks amazing but my wallet would shrivel up and die if I bought it.
